To Keep You Safe: - Facial geometry (extracted from photo verification, then compared—not stored as a photo) - Device information (to detect fraud) - IP address (standard web security)

To Improve VERIQ: - How you use the app (which features, how long, what you click) - Matches you make or skip - Experiences you join

Payment (if applicable): - Credit/debit card info (processed by secure payment companies, we don’t store full card numbers) - Billing address

🔒 How We Protect Your Data

What they DON’T see: - ✗ Your phone number - ✗ Your email address - ✗ Your exact address - ✗ Your facial geometry or verification selfies - ✗ Your payment info

⏰ How Long We Keep Your Data

While You Use VERIQ: - All profile data stays with your account - Messages kept for 6 months after last contact - Facial geometry kept for 3 years (to prevent banned users from creating new accounts)

After You Delete Your Account: - Profile deleted within 30 days - Messages deleted immediately - Facial geometry deleted within 3 years - Payment info deleted within 90 days

🏛️ Legal & Law Enforcement

We share data with police or courts only if: - They have a legal warrant or court order - Someone’s safety is in immediate danger - Child exploitation is suspected

We don’t share without a legal process, and we notify you when possible.

🌍 Data Locations

Your data is primarily stored in India. Backups and team access may occur in other regions, but all transfers are encrypted and comply with international privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA).
