By using VERIQ, you agree to these core rules. They exist to keep the platform safe, fair, and legal.

✅ You Must Be 18+

VERIQ is only for users 18 years or older. If you’re under 18: - Your account will be deleted immediately - All your data will be permanently deleted - Your parents/guardians will be contacted if identifiable

No exceptions.

📋 Be Honest

• Provide accurate name, age, and photo

• Don’t use fake photos or stolen images

• Don’t impersonate anyone

• Don’t create multiple accounts

Consequence: Immediate account deletion and permanent ban.

🚫 What You Cannot Do

Illegal Activity - Don’t use VERIQ to sell drugs, weapons, or illegal goods - Don’t participate in fraud, hacking, or scams - Don’t engage in human trafficking

Abuse & Harassment - Don’t threaten, stalk, or harass anyone - Don’t send unwanted sexual messages - Don’t share intimate photos without consent - Don’t engage in catfishing or romance scams

Respect Others’ Privacy - Don’t share someone’s personal info without permission - Don’t screenshot private messages and post them publicly - Don’t record conversations without legal consent - Don’t share photos of others without permission

Don’t Break the Platform - Don’t use bots or automated tools - Don’t scrape user data - Don’t try to hack the app - Don’t manipulate the matching algorithm - Don’t spam users

Hate & Discrimination - Don’t use slurs or dehumanizing language - Don’t discriminate based on race, religion, caste, gender, sexuality, or disability - Don’t promote hateful ideologies

⚖️ If You Break the Rules

We have a clear enforcement ladder:

1. Warning — For minor violations. You get a second chance.

2. Temporary Suspension (24 hours–7 days) — You can’t access the app. When you return, we’ll expect better behavior.

3. Permanent Ban — For serious violations:

• Threats or violence

• Sexual misconduct

• Fraud

• Child safety violations

• Hate crimes

• Repeated violations

You will never be able to use VERIQ again. We may also ban your IP address and report you to law enforcement if necessary.

📋 Appeals

If we ban you and you disagree: - You can submit one appeal per year - You must include new evidence - The bar for reversal is very high - We respond within 7 days

Most appeals are denied because the violation was clear.

🏢 What VERIQ Is NOT Responsible For

VERIQ is a platform. We are NOT responsible for: - What other users do to you (online or in person) - What happens at in-person experiences you attend - Financial losses from scams (though we work to prevent them) - Your safety at meetups (you choose where to meet) - Venue conditions or host behavior - Police or law enforcement actions

This is your responsibility. VERIQ provides the platform; you manage your own safety.

🛡️ What VERIQ Will Do

We WILL: - Verify users and enforce strict rules - Investigate reports within 48 hours - Ban people who abuse the platform - Refer serious crimes to law enforcement - Provide tools to block and report - Improve safety continuously

📄 Your Account

You own your account. You are responsible for: - Keeping your password secret - All activity under your account - Telling us immediately if someone hacks you - Following all laws and our rules - Using the Service honestly

If you violate this: Your account gets deleted, and you may be banned permanently.

💬 Ownership of Your Content

When you post photos, messages, or profile info on VERIQ: - You own it - We have permission to use it for safety, moderation, and improving VERIQ - We can analyze it with AI to detect abuse - Other users see it only as intended

You can delete your content anytime, and it will be permanently removed.

⚠️ No Guarantees

VERIQ is provided “as-is.” We don’t guarantee: - The app will never crash or have bugs - You will find compatible matches - All users will behave well - 100% safety (no platform can guarantee this)

We do our best, but tech fails sometimes.

🏛️ Legal Stuff

• These Terms are governed by Indian law

• Any lawsuits happen in Indian courts

• You can’t join a class action against us (you can sue individually)

• If we lose, you pay for our lawyers’ fees (if you initiatively sued us)
