Verified Profiles

Every user on VERIQ is verified through: - Phone verification — We confirm your phone number via SMS - Photo verification — We match your profile photo against a real-time selfie using facial recognition - ID verification (optional) — Add an extra “ID Verified” badge by uploading government ID

This means real people, not bots or catfish.

Group-First Experiences

VERIQ connects people through shared experiences—not just one-on-one dates. This creates natural safety through: - Multiple participants in each group experience - Verified venues and hosts - Clear attendance rosters (see who else is coming) - Emergency contact always available - Easy reporting during or after experiences

Zero Tolerance for Abuse

We have a clear enforcement ladder: - Warning → for minor violations - Temporary Suspension (24 hours–7 days) → for harassment or policy violations - Permanent Ban → for threats, sexual misconduct, fraud, or illegal activity - Law Enforcement Referral → for serious crimes

One serious violation = permanent ban.

Easy Reporting

If something feels wrong: - Report directly in-app (3-tap process) - We investigate within 48 hours - You don’t have to reveal your identity - Reported users cannot retaliate

Your Privacy, Your Control

• Your phone number and ID are encrypted and never shared with other users

• You control what’s visible on your profile

• You can block anyone instantly

• You can delete your account anytime

• We don’t sell your data

AI Monitoring

Our system automatically detects: - Scam messages and phishing attempts - Abusive language and hate speech - Suspicious account behavior - Banned users trying to create new accounts

Your Responsibility

VERIQ is safer because we verify users and enforce rules—but you also play a role: - ✓ Meet in public places for first meetings - ✓ Tell a trusted friend where you’re going - ✓ Verify information independently - ✓ Don’t share financial details with users - ✓ Report concerns immediately

What We Cannot Guarantee

We cannot guarantee: - 100% safety (no platform can) - That every person will behave well in person - Prevention of all scams (though we monitor heavily)
